The Amazonian Tribe With No Linguistic Concept Of Time

An Amazonian tribe called the Amondawa tribe, has no concept of time in their language. Researchers in Brazil have discovered the Amondawa language lacks the linguistic structures that relate to time as we know it - there does not seem to be a word for 'time' or for periods of time such as 'week' or 'month'.

The Amondawa people seem to talk about events and sequences of events rather than time itself.
