Election Manifestos Go Multilingual

While trying to decide which way to vote in the UK General Election on 6 May 2010, I decided to browse through all the election manifestos of the major political parties.  I was pleased to discover on the Green Party website that they have their Mini Manifesto in Arabic and Bengali.  This prompted me to search through the websites of other political parties. Absolutely nothing to be found in other languages on the Labour Party or Conservative Party websites ... but bingo! The Liberal Democrats have their manifesto translated into Hindi, Somali, Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi.

The Plaid Cymru is obviously in Welsh and English. The Scottish National Party Manifesto is in ... wait for it ... English only!
