La Tomatina is held this year on 26 August 2009 and is said to be the world’s biggest and most outrageous food fight!   Using over-ripe tomatoes, thousands take to the streets and throw tomatoes at anyone and everyone in this tomato festival on the last Wednesday in August each year in a town called Buñol in Valencia, Spain.
